PAPANIA, Anthony “Tony” Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in Peterborough. Devoted husband of Betty for 53 years. Loving father of Tracey (Jason). Cherished nonno of Peter and Taylor. Dear brother of Frank (Maria) and Salvatore (Antonietta). Tony will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Tuesday, November 10th from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 1148 Finch Avenue, Pickering on Wednesday, November 11th at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. In memory of Tony, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
