BIRT, Harry William “Bill”
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 22, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Marjorie for 33 years. Devoted father of Paul, David, Pat, Terry, Tom, Cheryl, Mary Lou, Jeff, Karen and the late Stephen. Cherished grandfather of 18 and great grandfather of 16 and predeceased by granddaughter Leanne. Bill will be fondly remembered by his many family and friends both here and abroad and by his friends at Teakwood Village in Largo, Florida. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Saturday, October 31st from 10:00-11:30am. A Service to Celebrate Bill’s life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 11:30am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In memory of Bill, donations may be made to the Durham Region Cancer Centre or to Sick Kid’s. Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
