Long-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Royal Canadian Legion Branch#519, Coboconk.
Peacefully, on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, at the age of 71. Betty (nee Fraser), beloved wife of Glyn. Loving mother of Carol (Ron), and Alex (Christine). Loved nana of Shannon (Jordan), Alicia (Phil), Jeff (Ally), Julia, Adam, and great nana of Paxton, Feather, Fenox, Kirby, and Lilly. Cherished daughter in law of Fred and Barb Evans. Dear sister in law of Jackie Evans, and aunt of Scott and Dale Rose. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa(south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Saturday, August 15th from 3:30-6:30pm. A Celebration of Betty’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #519, Coboconk, ON (Hwy 48 & 35), on Saturday, August, 22nd from 1-3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society. Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
