Peacefully, with his wife by his side on Saturday May 9, 2015 at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa at age 63. Beloved husband of 39 years to Maria. Loving father of Carla (Wesley Roy)and Raffaele. Loved nonno of Genevieve and Rocco. Cherished son of Raffaele and Assunta Bruni and son-in-law of Carmela and the late Carmen Chiarello. Loving brother of Carmela, Frank, Aldo, Santo, Vanda, Giuseppe, Giovanni and Lena. The following are honoured to be pallbearers Wesley Roy(son-in-law), Robert Palermo(nephew), Joe Chiarello(brother-in-law), Carlo Chiarello(brother-in-law), John Chiarello(uncle) and Sam Mazzuca(uncle). Visitation will be held at DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa(south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road) 905-440-3595 on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 11:00am-1:00pm. A funeral service will be held in the DeStefano Funeral Chapel at 1:00pm.Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. If desired memorial donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Society or Hearth Place Cancer Support.
