Peacefully, on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital, at age 89. Ernest is the beloved husband of the late Kathleen. Loving father of Jean (Jacques De Vos), Edward, and the late Kimberley. Loved “bumpa G” of Joanne, Lori, Jacques, John, and great grandfather of Jessica, Sarah, David, and Aaliyah. Dear brother of Ronald, Alan, Jean, Nellie and the late Emily and Eileen. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive(South side of Taunton Road east of Thornton Road)905-440-3595 on Monday, January 5th from 10-11am. A service to celebrate Ernest’s life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 11am. If desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
