Morysiak; Lydia (Retired employee of Chrysler Ajax) Peacefully, with family by her side, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Monday October, 20, 2014, at age 83. Lydia (nee Jilon), wife of Kaz Morysiak, and the late Alexander Slijovski. Loving mother of Peter Slijovski (Arlene-predeceased), Susan (David Beach), Ricky Morysiak, and Ed (Karen) Morysiak. Loved mama (grandma), Wendy, Anna, Peter Jr., Alex, Jason, David Jr., Eddie, and great mama to Alyssa, Cynthia, Samantha, Kylie, and Xavier. Dear sister of Vera (Leon Wistrzyk -predeceased), Leon Jilon (Raissa). Cherished aunt of Helen, Mimi, Paul, Peter, Nina, Leo, Anna, and Lisa. The family wishes to thank her caregivers Jason, her grandson, and Stephanie, Cristeta, Rosella, Michelle, and Winnie. Special thanks to her friend Mia for her care, and to the staff of Lakeridge Health Oshawa 6th floor. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa(south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road)905-440-3595 on Wednesday, October 22nd from 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 1100 Mary Street North, Oshawa, on Thursday, October 23rd at 11 am. Interment at Thornton Cemetery. In memory of Lydia, donations may be made to a charity of choice. Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
